We where lucky enough to do an interview with top South African music channel MK89’s awesome show AMP.

Flying in to Pretoria on Friday 12th we disembarked after and straight away noticed cameras pointed our way, damn we didn’t even get a bloody chance to photoshop those zits out! After meeting everyone from the crew, who where all cool guys and seemed really excited for the day, we crammed into our shuttle and drove off to the venue for the interview, Thrashers Skatepark.

When we arrived we met up with Herman, AMP’s energized frontman, and immediately got along with him. Makes everything a lot less stressful when the crew are pros and super laid back.

At Thrasher we filmed segments of the interviews and an acoustic version of Battle for the Sky and after that finished up at the Silent Screams shop next door Besides the boiling sun and lack of cream it was a really rad day.

For the live section of the interview we headed off to Cafe Arc, where we were playing a show that night. We filmed the last sections of the interview and also our favourite track off the ‘Battle for the Sky’ EP, Future Man.

Despite technical issues the AMP crew stuck it out and managed to get the everything they needed. Awesome. Beers where consumed and friends where made, and a huge thanks to the AMP crew making things run smoothly and making it a cool time for us!
